the PARTY's Here!

That's the sign that's been at our house for 2 weeks now! Although the party's always here (due to a house with a few children), the party's here moreso in the fall and winter months during birthdays and holidays!
Annaliese turned 11 on the 1st of February! We had grandparents over for cupcakes and ice cream!
Birthday girl on the right in her new hat =)
Happy Birthday to you!
Annaliese invited a couple friends to go roller skating the following Saturday, and then we came back to our house for ice cream cake =) Annaliese wanted a penguin theme, and being the artist she is -- decorated the cake herself!
More balloons and more celebrating on the 8th when Evan turned 9! We had grandparents over for brownies (Evan's choice) and ice cream =) We used a trick candle without realizing it -- hence, Natalie's help in blowing out that stubborn candle... which didn't blow out!
The following Saturday Evan (on the right) invited 3 friends to go rollerskating, and then they also came back to our house for ice cream cake =)

Happy Birthday Evan!

  1. Annaliese, your cake turned out so cute! I love that you wanted to decorate it yourself. I hope you & Evan had good birthdays -- it sure looks like you had some fun celebrations. =)

  2. My girls' birthdays are like that - only 6 days apart. No one complains about the back-to-back cakes, though. =) Looks like your two had great birthday celebrations!

  4. Can't believe that Annaliese is 11!!! Wow! AND that she decorated her own cake.
And it looks like Evan was smart to follow in his sisters celebrating footsteps! Fun times!
