our friends in the ward, the Lovell's for a great breakfast at the Oak Table Cafe (a restaurant with rave reviews!). We have a shared anniversary of July 22, just 5 years apart! =)
Then to continue our anniversary celebration...we went canoeing at the University of WA Arboretum!
(Also a date during our engagement =)
We witnessed a couple jump from the walking bridge right above us! Thankfully we moved out of their way in time! =)
Beautiful warm summer day! Now that's a look of an experienced canoer =)
Then dinner at Black Angus, a swim at the hotel pool and an overnight stay, while my mom stayed with our kids!
The next day, after a fabulous buffet breakfast at the hotel,
we attended a session at the Seattle Temple;
where 15 years ago "we" began [our marriage]!
Sidenote: The Seattle Temple is normally closed around our anniversary, but this year we were lucky, as they moved the cleaning to August!
