We celebrated Nathan's 5th birthday!
He turned 5 on 11/1/11;
or 1 "1" derful Day!
(He was born at 11:12 am.;
missed it by 1 minute =)
During the day,
a friend from his church primary class
came over,
and they played & had treats =)
His primary teacher came over to recognize
his birthday =)
He ate his chosen birthday dinner;
crockpot chicken with rice, on the
'You are special today' red plate =)
His grandparents came over with gifts,
and then finally,
after patiently waiting
until after his cub scout brother, young women sisters,
and bishopric member dad came home,
Nathan was able to open his gifts! =)

and have cake and ice cream!
This year he wanted a chocolate cake with white frosting =)
(I made some cupcakes too)
He put the sprinkles and candles on =)

Aww, Nathan is such a sweetheart! I hardly recognize him anymore, he's getting so BIG! That's so cool that he was one minute off of having a birthday on 11/1/11 at 11:11! My sister's baby is due this week on 11/11/11. She's hoping he comes right on time. :)
