Aaron's 2nd grade class read the story Flat Stanley
about a young boy who gets flattened by a bulletin board
and is able to travel the world in an envelope.
Then they each made a Flat Stanley traveler to send to family or friends far away =)
Aaron's Flat Stanley
went all the way to Hyde Park, Utah
to spend some time with his cousins! =)
While Stanley was there, some of the exciting things he saw and did were:
(look for Flat Stanley in the pictures =)
They saw the monument of the founding of their city,
The Welcome sign and logo of their city
Aaron's cousins;
Sam, Ellie, David, Tyler, Austin & Amy
and they played at the city park =)
The distance between Edmonds, WA and Hyde Park, UT
is 815 miles!
They said if Flat Stanley should come back to visit, he should wear
shorts in the summer and a winter coat in the winter
because the climate there is really hot during the summer
and really cold in the winter.
Some other interesting facts about their city include:
Six men and their families were the original founders of Hyde Park in 1860.
Flat Stanley had happy travels =)
Thanks Nichols Family!

Sounds like he was well taken care of in Utah! What a fun activity!
