The last days of school!

The primary grades had field day

They had races in the morning
and then Nathan & I went in the afternoon
for the station activities

It was a fun day for the kids =)

It's a tradition for the 5th graders at the elementary school to make and launch rockets!
They launched them before their field trip to the park =)

And Evan caught his as it descended =)

Nathan & I walked with Evan's class to a nearby park for the field trip
where they played baseball,

had a picnic lunch,
and presented their individual summaries of the year's highlights =)

Over lunch, some classmates decided that Evan hit the baseball the furthest;
we need to get him on a team when we move!

Evan's class participated in the intermediate grades' field day

on the day in between their two field trips to nearby parks!

He earned a 3rd place ribbon for the 25 yard dash and a

2nd place ribbon for the 50 yard dash!
