Wrapping up Birthday Season

It was a happy day for our 6 year old
on 1 November!
Although he had school (on my birthday?!)
they did sing to him =)
Nathan chose his favorite dinner;
chicken noodle soup
& grilled cheese sandwiches
(Yay for me!)

He also asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting,
with eyes and a silly face, and the number 6 candle! =)
He liked it!

And right before he opened gifts...
he finally wiggled that front loose tooth out!
Birthday bonus, since the tooth fairy brings a dollar =)

 Cute new smile =)

He loved the shirt that Evan helped me pick out for him!

And this was his only gift request, besides candy =)
He was so excited,
he even gave me a hug =)
I ordered it off of amazon.com, and although
the estimated delivery date was after his birthday,
it arrived that day!

And
after seeing so many advertisements for

the kids really wanted to see it!
So, while Sheldon went to an all-day Scout Unit Commissioner Training
north of us at Fire Mountain on Saturday, the 3rd,
we went to the old (actually 73 years old!)
Arlington Theatre where movies are considerably
less expensive. =)

It was a really cute movie.

And then both sets of grandparents
were able to come up on Sunday evening
for (leftover =) cake and ice cream!
Nathan is one lucky and now rich boy!

While the grandparents were here,
we watched the dvd with music that Sheldon made
for Natalie's 16th birthday,
and the one I made for Sheldon's 40th!

Birthdays are so fun!
