Fun in the Sun Week

Natalie had a fabulous & exhausting week
as a 2nd year at the Stake Girls' Camp
at Ensign Ranch!

From canoeing in the lake, archery, Golden Hour (team building activities & speakers), chores & certification, a 5-mile hike, crafts, fun on the slip n slide & rope swing, Destiny time (individual ward speakers), to being entertained with the Bishops' obstacle course, testimony meeting and solo time

it was her "life changing experience of the summer" with fantastic friends and leaders!

While Natalie was away for the week...

We went down to the Edmonds beach one evening! It was still 79 degrees at 8:00 at night!

The seagulls came when someone threw them bread!

Annaliese Beautiful sunset on Puget Sound
And one afternoon after lunch the kids and I put their scooters in the van and went to Green Lake in Seattle! We walked all the way around the lake in about 1 1/2 hours!

Great exercise on a beautiful day!

  1. Looks like a fun week! I'm a little jealous of your big ride/walk around the lake. Right now we're in the throes of August in NC, which translates into temps in the 90s and the heat index in the 100s. We'd all pass out if we rode around outside for an hour and a half. =)
