The winter here has been unusually L O N G and wet.
The weather keeps teasing us with a nice day just
every once in a while.
We're hoping that summer carries over into September this year.
So, in the midst of wind, clouds and rain in May,
the girls had to
bring. us. SPRING! =)
Another bright spot in our weekend;
Sisters from the 3 General Presidencies visited our area!
Sheldon attended the auxiliary training meeting on Saturday for the YW leadership (by Sister Cook, General YW 1st Counselor).
And then on Sunday,
Sister Stevens, 1st Counselor General Primary Presidency, visited our ward!
She sat with the 4 year old Primary class (lucky Nathan =),
and then gave a wonderful talk in our Sacrament Meeting!
That evening Natalie and Annaliese attended the Fireside for YW
where Sister Cook spoke,
while Sheldon and I and the boys
went to our building for the Fireside where Sister Stevens addressed
the parents and Primary children (of 11 stakes)!
It was a powerful meeting with songs, questions/answers and family interaction!
We ended the meeting with my favorite children's primary song,
"I Know that my Savior Loves Me"!

Love the picture of your girls!! And what a great opportunity to hear from those amazing women! We don't usually have church leadership attending our ward out here. =)
