New School Year

We started 7th grade/middle school (for the 2nd time),

9th grade/high school and seminary,

5th grade (for the 3rd time) and

2nd grade (for the 4th time)

this new school year!

Did I say, WE? I meant our kids =)

That would be Annaliese, Natalie, Evan & Aaron respectively =)

The kids had a great first day!

Natalie's day began with early-morning seminary at 5:55 am.

at the church building.

As we were leaving the house, with the stars still out,

she put on 'Walking in Sunlight' from their Girls' Camp cd,

and we listened to

"It's a beautiful day even though it's dark out there. You got sun on

your face, take it with you everywhere." =)

Love that attitude!

Annaliese is in a brand new, beautiful middle school; those lucky kids!

She has some great teachers and some friends in her classes =)

Evan doesn't have any friends from last year in his class,

but all the 5th graders have recess together, and he has a fantastic teacher,

who takes his class on about a dozen field trips!

(He was Natalie's 5th grade teacher as well).

Aaron's teacher was his 1st grade teacher

who moved up a grade this year.

We're pleased to have her again =)
