The fun Employee Appreciation day (for families) that the kids look forward to all year long finally arrived on August 14! It's one of the perks for working for the Tulalip Tribes -- thanks Dad!

Aaron braving the "riding of the (electronic) bull!" It seriously jerked and threw you around and off! No worries though -- that's like a huge air mattress surrounding it. You had to be 5, so the 4 oldest got to try it! (It brought me back to my mission days in Spain! :)

Evan trying out his golfing skills. (That's Tulalip Bay behind him).

Aaron was the only one who braved the water slide due to the day's cooler weather!

Natalie is in the red helmet driving the red pedal car. Go Nat! Due to age restrictions Aaron wasn't allowed to drive one. Only 3 years to go, Aaron...

And then there were the motorized bathtub races. On your mark, get set, go... Again the youngest 2 kids have to wait a few years to try out their driving skills :(

That's our "rock climber" Annaliese. This wasn't her 1st time climbing rock walls nor was it by far the highest that she's climbed. She does not get her "no fear of heights" from me!
And it was amazing to see Natalie, Evan & Aaron brave the rock climbing wall as well! There were 3 skill levels -- and they all did great!
Until next summer when we return for lots of activities, fun, lunch and unlimited popsicles, ice cream bars, popcorn, and sno cones (you don't wonder why the kids can't wait?)...
Wow! That's quite the employee appreciation day. I'm suddenly feeling Jason's firm must not appreciate us quite as much! =)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun family outing! The Railroad Family Days were fun, but on the years we didn't get to ride the rails, there's really no comparison to yours!
