Sheldon spent a week in Oklahoma City
for a work training;
'Project Making Medicine, Honoring Children, Mending the Circle.'
We missed him, and he missed us!

And when he returned, we all went to Disney on Ice! in Everett at Comcast Arena. Sheldon was able to purchase 1/2 price tickets through his employer; The Tulalip Tribes. Our family has only been 1 other time; when Natalie was small & we lived in Utah & saw Disney on Ice in SLC.

All the kids were at the perfect ages to really enjoy the show!
The theme was 'Let's Celebrate'.
Among the performances, they did a 'love story,' (for thoseromantics at heart), a 'Japanese,'
and an 'un-birthday' performance.
The stars are always Mickey & Minnie Mouse =)
And,

Aaron had anticipated an appearance by the Toy Story 3 characters!
Luckily he wasn't disappointed!
We had just rented the Toy Story 3 DVD for movie night the previous night,
and loved the movie!
We had a very fun evening; THANKS Dad (Sheldon)!
What a fun way to celebrate Sheldon's return! So glad he had a good trip and that you're all back together safely again. =)
ReplyDeleteWe've only done Disney on Ice once, and it was the princess edition. =) Disney definitely knows how to put on a good show!
ReplyDeleteHow fun for you guys!! I'm sure your kids had a blast. We got to see Disney on Ice in downtown Seattle 4 years ago and it was fun!
