Annaliese completed Level 3 of the Bastien Piano series in February!
She received the Certificate of Achievement from her teacher, Sister Lovell =)
She then began working on the 4th and final level in the series,
and is preparing for their piano recital this month.

We went to the Quad 6-12 grade Band Concert at the High School
to see Annaliese play her flute!
They have great band directors for the 8 schools, and the
the kids did an incredible job!
It was amazing to hear where the 6th
graders' musical ability will be shortly!
We're looking forward to many more years of band concerts =)

It brought back memories for Sheldon as he also played the 'Selections from Carmen'
by Bizet when he was in high school!
Natalie's middle school played 3 pieces including the finale with all the groups. Bravo to all the string players and their 4 directors!

Annaliese is doing great with piano -- and actually, so is Natalie. I love that they both are continuing with their first chosen instrument in addition to learning a new one. You have a musically gifted family!
