Annaliese and 7 other intermediate students at her elementary school, read enough of the required books this year in the Best Book Club
to be invited to the library-sponsored District competition
"Battle of the Books"!
Their school even had cool purple t-shirts to wear!
The field trip was to a neighboring elementary school where
the students from 12 schools were divided into teams of 4
making 24 teams for the jeopardy-like game =)
It was exciting!

They had spent HOURS reading individually
(Annaliese read all 20 books) and then practicing as a group in preparation!
Their school's 2 teams did a GREAT job with all the very difficult questions!
