Natalie turned 14 on the 22nd!
She had been looking forward to this birthday for a LONG time!
She LOVES Halloween and had been dreaming of a costume party
filled with fun, food, decorations and games!
Invitations went out and 7 of her friends were able to come!
My mom and her friend (who is WAY into Halloween like Natalie)
were a HUGE help bringing over decorations
of spiders, and cobwebs, rats and cats,
and jack-o-lanterns and lights!
Our home transformed into a spooky place =)
And a creative friend of mine was a HUGE help with food ideas!
(both on school spirit committee =)
Lots of fun, good Halloween-themed food!
Food, decorations, punch & bleeding candles!
Homemade Halloween chips, eyeballs with brains & fingers...
Eating doughnuts off a string!

for the girls to play!
May your wish come true =)
And then when it got really dark, the girls watched the Disney movie "Watcher in the Woods!"
The young adult daughter of a friend in our ward dressed up as the Grim Reaper!
And at just the right moments during the movie, she made her appearances!
We have NEVER heard such ear-piercing screaming!
I was scared just listening to them!
At the end of her fantastic performance,
she unveiled her identity and had them perform their best cackles!
It was a 6-hour party to remember! Happy 14th Birthday, Natalie from all of us!

All I can think to say is "wow!" Looks like it was a fantastic party!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun party! You guys sure went all out!!!
ReplyDeleteWho WAS the Grim Reaper, btw?
Emily Eborall =) You would have never guessed, right?!
ReplyDeleteYou guys really know how to throw a fun party. That sounded AWESOME! I love all the fun food ideas.
ReplyDeleteWow! Bryan told me about Emily's effective Grim Reaper performance. I am glad I wasn't watching that creepy movie when she appeared! =D Looks like you and Natalie planned a great party. I'm glad you got so many great pictures of it. {Love, LOVE that she included her siblings in the fun!}
